The Sage Residence

The brief was simple: “make it feel like a weekend.” The family spends long days on screens and wanted a home that slowed them down — natural textures, soft light and nothing shouting for attention.

We opened up the living and dining areas, replaced a heavy TV unit with a low oak console, and used sage and oatmeal tones throughout. Storage was hidden behind flush shutters so surfaces stay clear.

The study doubles as a guest room with a fold-down bed, and the pooja niche sits in a carved wall at the end of the corridor so it's the first thing you see from the door.
